Its continued success helped propel the 1876 Riddim to No. 19 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Albums chart.

Born in the Richmond Park community of Kingston, Jamaica, to Guyanese parents who attended the University of the West Indies, Vybrid became known for his outgoing personality and vibrant energy. His peers naturally began calling him “Vybz.” As his artistry evolved, he combined “Vybz” with “Hybrid” to create the name Vybrid—a true reflection of his versatility, multicultural background, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Vybrid has continued to perfect his craft by blending diverse styles, sounds, and influences. He has performed at universities, charity events, festivals, and carnivals and has opened for renowned artists including Spragga Benz, Ky-Mani Marley, Junior Reid, Dexta Daps, and Mr. Vegas. He has also collaborated with respected producers such as Krecktos, LoudSpeakr, Patexx, SlayBad, and Delly Ranx.
