Hi! 👋 I’m Dana Negrey.
I’m The Guy who’s your voice coach, cheerleader & voice artist of choice.
Helping people gain confidence & purpose using their unique voice is a passion of mine.
A performer my entire life, I noticed the creative energies of being a musician, an MC, a DJ/VJ, & acting/improv were moving me to being a voiceover artist.
In my late teens, I unknowingly jumped into coaching people with their creativity. Realizing how cool it was helping people, I became an educator. Still, I wanted to accomplish more on my own artistic path, so I dove into being a full-time voice actor.
I’ve had some crazy success voicing commercials, narrations, animations, e-learning & a ton of other things… basically wherever a recorded voice was needed 🎙️!
Busy on the mic, I was still the one others came to for advice, only now it was about voiceover. That’s why I accepted the offer to coach professionally from Dan Willmott & VoiceSpot 15 years ago.
One of my superpowers is showing people how to use their voices to engage others & keep them interested.
Just because you have a good story doesn’t mean people will pay attention. If you’re putting all that work into creating content, it makes sense to fine-tune your voice.
Other superpowers include coaching for live events & recorded projects, strategizing & unlocking the “you” that triggers other’s curiosity & makes them want to listen.

Bert & Ernie were my first voiceover idols. Muppets, sure, but voice acting made them come alive & I loved that! I grew up wanting to perform 1000 Voices "just like Mel Blanc" to the point people weren't sure what I actually sounded like as a kid. So many performers such as Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Morgan Freeman, Jim Cummings, John Ratzenberger... and many more, helped shaped my performances & continue to influence my voiceover & voice acting.
And amazing coaches like Maurice Tobias, David Fennoy, Kristin Paiva, Marc Cashman, Katie Leigh, David LeReany, Jonathan Love, Dan Willmott, Paul Boucher (too many to list, really!) not only helped me learn to perform with my voice, but also how to teach others to find their unique voice, too.
