When you book Vivid Aura Entertainment, you’re getting more than someone showing up with speakers and a playlist. You’re getting an entertainment team focused on creating the right experience for your guests from setup through the final song.

Before your event, we’ll learn about your vision, guest count, venue, music preferences, timeline, special moments, and the atmosphere you want to create. From there, we tailor the entertainment and production to your event.

On event day, expect a professional setup, sound check, wireless microphones when needed, prepared music, and an experienced team ready to manage the entertainment.

Romeo B focuses on the room—hosting, making announcements, interacting with guests, reading the energy, encouraging participation, and helping important moments happen naturally.

Flexx focuses on the sound—managing music, microphones, levels, and the technical side of the experience so everything sounds polished throughout the event.

Depending on the service you choose, your experience can include professional DJ entertainment, hosted karaoke, DJ + karaoke, MC/hosting, live music, professional sound, and customized entertainment for your celebration.

For karaoke events, we don't simply hand guests a microphone. We host the experience, manage the singer rotation, provide lyrics and wireless microphones, mix vocals in real time, play music between performances, and help even hesitant guests feel comfortable participating.

For DJ events, we build the music around your preferences while reading the room throughout the celebration. We can help coordinate entrances, announcements, special dances, cake cutting, and other important moments while keeping the event moving naturally.

For events combining DJ and karaoke, we transition between dancing, singing, hosting, and special moments so the night feels like one cohesive experience rather than several separate services.

Our goal is for you to spend less time worrying about the entertainment and more time enjoying your event.

Vivid Aura Entertainment provides premium DJ entertainment, hosted karaoke, live music, professional MC/hosting, and live sound for private events throughout New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the surrounding Tri-State area.

Founded by professional music artists Romeo B and Flexx, Vivid Aura was built around a simple idea: great event entertainment is about more than playing music. It’s about reading the room, creating the right energy, getting guests involved, and making the entertainment feel like it was designed specifically for the people in front of you.

We provide entertainment for birthdays, Sweet 16s, weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, family celebrations, community events, anniversaries, graduations, nightlife events, and other special occasions.

THE VIVID AURA DIFFERENCE

One of the biggest advantages of booking Vivid Aura is having two experienced entertainment professionals working together.

Romeo B is a professional recording artist, international live performer, host, and MC. During an event, he focuses on the people—reading the room, interacting with guests, introducing special moments, encouraging participation, and helping create an atmosphere where people feel comfortable getting involved.

Flexx is a music artist and professional live sound engineer. While Romeo works the room, Flexx can focus on the music, microphones, sound levels, and technical side of the experience.

Instead of one person trying to host, manage the music, troubleshoot equipment, interact with guests, and mix microphones simultaneously, our team can divide those responsibilities and stay focused on the overall guest experience.

DJ ENTERTAINMENT

Our DJ experiences are built around your event rather than a generic playlist.

We work with you beforehand to understand your musical preferences, must-play songs, special moments, audience, and overall vision. During the event, we read the room and adjust as the energy changes.

Whether you're looking for current hits, R&B, hip-hop, pop, throwbacks, Latin music, Afrobeat, funk, dance music, or a multicultural mix, we'll help create a soundtrack that fits your celebration.

Professional MC and hosting support can also be incorporated for entrances, announcements, special dances, cake cutting, activities, and other important moments.

HOSTED KARAOKE

Karaoke is where Vivid Aura began building its reputation for interactive entertainment, and we approach it differently from simply setting up microphones and letting guests figure things out.

Our hosted karaoke experiences are designed to make participation feel easy and fun—even for guests who weren't planning to sing.

We provide professional hosting, wireless microphones, lyrics, an extensive song selection, music between singers, and real-time sound management. We keep the experience moving, encourage the room, and help turn individual performances into something the entire party can participate in.

Because Flexx can actively manage the sound, singers aren't simply handed a microphone—they receive a more polished live experience.

DJ + KARAOKE

For events that want both a dance floor and interactive entertainment, we can combine DJ and karaoke into one seamless experience.

Guests can sing, dance, make requests, celebrate special moments, and move naturally between different parts of the night without the entertainment feeling disconnected.

This is especially effective for birthdays, Sweet 16s, corporate celebrations, family events, and parties with guests who want more than a traditional DJ experience.

LIVE MUSIC & PERFORMANCE

Because Vivid Aura was founded by working music artists, live performance is part of our DNA.

Depending on the event, we can incorporate professional live vocals and live entertainment alongside DJ, karaoke, or hosting services. Romeo B also performs with his live band Amorrio, allowing us to explore larger entertainment concepts for clients looking for a combination of live music and event entertainment.

Our background as performers influences everything we do. We're comfortable in front of a room, understand timing and audience energy, and know how to respond when an event doesn't go exactly according to a script.

PROFESSIONAL SOUND

Great entertainment doesn't work if it doesn't sound good.

Vivid Aura can provide professional sound equipment, wireless microphones, lyrics displays for karaoke, and production appropriate for the size and needs of your event. For larger or more production-focused events, premium live sound options are also available.

If your venue already has an appropriate sound system, we can discuss integrating with the existing setup.

Every event is different, so we determine the right production approach based on your venue, guest count, space, and entertainment needs.

BUILT AROUND YOUR EVENT

We don't believe every event should receive exactly the same package.

A 30-person birthday at home requires a different approach than a 150-person Sweet 16, corporate celebration, wedding reception, or large community event.

Technical & Production Information

Vivid Aura Entertainment provides a scalable professional audio and entertainment setup that can be adapted to your venue, guest count, and event format.

Audio & Sound

Our available sound equipment includes:

Behringer WING digital mixing console for premium and larger-scale productions
Yamaha mixer for compact and standard event setups
Up to four QSC professional PA speakers when additional coverage is required
JBL PartyBox Ultimate speakers for flexible event configurations
JBL PartyBox 720 for additional portable sound reinforcement
Two sets of professional wireless microphones, allowing us to accommodate multiple singers, hosts, announcements, and special moments
Additional audio equipment and cabling necessary to configure the system appropriately for the venue

Because our team includes a professional live sound engineer, microphones and audio levels can be actively managed throughout the event rather than relying on a set-it-and-forget-it system.

Our wireless video capabilities allow us to position lyrics displays more flexibly without requiring long HDMI cable runs across an event space.

Scalable Production

We do not bring the exact same equipment package to every event.

For a small house party or intimate gathering, we can use a compact setup that provides professional sound without overwhelming the room.

For larger private events, weddings, corporate functions, halls, and community events, we can scale the system with additional speakers, microphones, displays, and our Behringer WING production setup as appropriate.

If a venue already has a professional house sound system, we can also discuss integrating our equipment with the venue's existing production rather than unnecessarily duplicating equipment.

Space & Power Requirements

Our requirements depend on the package and size of the event. We generally require:

Access to reliable electrical power
A safe, designated area for the DJ/audio equipment
Appropriate space for speakers and any karaoke displays
Reasonable access to the performance area during setup and breakdown
Venue approval for integration with an existing house sound system when applicable

For larger events, we recommend coordinating technical requirements with the venue in advance so we can determine speaker placement, power access, load-in procedures, existing AV capabilities, and the appropriate production setup.

Setup & Breakdown

Vivid Aura handles setup, sound check, operation, and breakdown of our equipment. We plan the system around the event so the client can focus on the celebration rather than managing the technical side.

From a small private party to a larger event requiring multiple professional speakers, wireless microphones, displays, and dedicated live sound engineering, we can scale the Vivid Aura setup to match the room.
