Virginia Coast Chorus

From small, intimate gatherings to large-scale venues, Virginia Coast Chorus is ready to perform and elevate your event with powerful, harmonious music tailored to your needs. For smaller performance needs you would likely see a quartet, double-quartet or small group of singers singing songs to fit your performance needs. Mid-size or larger performance needs we would provide a larger group of singers and again, tailor our set list with songs for the occasion or event. We are an interactive group of singers, we like to engage with our audience in various ways, however if this is not your style of need, no worries. Again, we are flexible to needs.
All of our songs are sung a capella - no music or instruments other than our voices!

Virginia Coast Chorus is a membership organization of female singers, including transgender women, and non-binary people assigned female at birth. The Virginia Coast Chorus (VCC)  was founded in 1986; we have been a part of Hampton Roads for 40 years!. We range in age from teens to 80s - we are nurses, teachers, government employees, health workers, environmental workers, homemakers, students, retirees - everyday women just like you.  We have varied music backgrounds from degrees in music to "can't read a note!"..We have a strong outreach in our community and perform at various local events (corporate and holiday) and facilities (SNF, ALF, ILF) in the local Hampton Roads area. In addition, we are a diverse group of individuals who enjoy socializing and having fun throughout the year outside of rehearsals; yes, we really to enjoy one another's company! Virginia Coast Chorus is a chapter of SingUnited International (dba Sweet Adelines International), a non-profit organization of approximately 25,000 members in choruses and quartets, worldwide.

1) Strong scents are a challenge for those with allergies. Environments with scented burning candles, incense and wood-burning fireplaces are not recommended- however, please inform of the conditions wo we can provide the best singers for the environment.
2) A room with ambient temperature for voice quality and comfort (we can do outside performances, please inform of the conditions so we can provide the best singers for this environment.
