For weddings, I’ll serenade your guests about 30 minutes before you walk down the aisle, setting a romantic tone that pulls everyone into the moment away from their phones and fully present. When it’s time for you to walk down the aisle, the experience will feel even more magical in person than you imagined in your head.

For corporate events, I create a polished and engaging ambiance that reflects your brand and elevates the guest experience. Whether it’s a networking reception, awards gala, product launch, or holiday party, live violin adds a sophisticated touch that makes your event stand out. I can provide elegant background music to encourage conversation or deliver a dynamic electric violin performance that energizes the room and captures attention at key moments.

Tahirah is a multi-genre violinist and a Howard University alumna. Her journey as a violinist began with a deep passion for music and a desire to explore its diverse possibilities. She started teaching herself to play the violin at the age of 10. Classically trained, she continued to grow as a musician and found herself drawn to other genres, including R&B, hip-hop, pop, gospel, dancehall, reggae, afrobeats, house, and many more. She began experimenting with different styles, incorporating elements from each into her playing, and discovering new ways to express herself through the violin.

As she navigated her career path as a multi-genre violinist, she encountered various challenges and opportunities. While she cherished the classical repertoire and the discipline it instilled in her, she yearned for creative freedom and the chance to explore her wide-ranging musical tastes. She found herself at a crossroads, unsure of which direction to take her career.

She has a desire to broaden her impact in the music industry by creating innovative enterprises. Her entrepreneurial goals focus on creating a platform that nurtures artistic talent and fosters collaboration across genres. She envisions establishing a music platform that offers educational resources, performance opportunities, and collaboration spaces. She intends to utilize her vision on genre-blending projects, giving a voice to artists who, like her, extend across multiple musical styles. She also aims to push the boundaries of artistic expression and create a sustainable business model that benefits both artists and audiences. By nurturing talent and fostering innovation, she hopes to contribute to a more inclusive and diverse music industry.

Her mission is to use her music to break down barriers across genres, races, and creativity itself. She strives to share her craft with as many people as possible, introducing unique creativity and broadening horizons. She aims to inspire others to be creative and explore their craft beyond traditional boundaries.

Sound Amplification

For larger venues or outdoor spaces, proper amplification is essential. Portable PA systems, wireless microphones for announcements, and quality speakers help ensure every guest can hear clearly. Planning setup time in advance and coordinating audio with the flow of your event creates a seamless experience.

Live music can elevate any event whether it’s a corporate gathering, private party, gala, ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. For events with 100+ guests, I recommend working with a DJ, using the venue’s in-house sound system, or hiring a professional AV team. This ensures consistent sound coverage and smooth transitions throughout the event.

For smaller or more intimate gatherings, especially outdoors, I provide a Bose S1 Pro+ speaker to deliver clear, balanced sound. I’m also happy to collaborate with DJs or coordinate with a professional AV team (recommended for larger or more complex setups) at the client’s additional cost. This added support helps reduce stress and ensures everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
