What to expect

Our music is very easy to get into no matter what your tastes. Our set can be tailored to just about any audience. We can play rocking, soulful sets with a drummer, or we can play a more subdued set without drums. The band is a four piece: Glenn Thomas sings lead and plays half the set on keys and half the set on guitar; Monica is our new, beautiful back-up singer; Sam plays upright bass; and Phil plays drums. It is good drinking music.

About

The Glenn Thomas Band released its debut One Last Stand in July, an earthy, gritty collection of raw, Hammond B3-based Americana. “The sound is heavy,” Thomas explains, “and it has a really old-school feel.” The album, available on CD, download, and special-edition vinyl features upright bassist Sam Johnson, Phil Mitchell on drums, and Thomas on vocals, keys, and guitar. “We understand most bands are focusing on singles,” Mitchell says, “but we made One Last Stand to be listened to all the way through -- as an album.”

Additional booking notes

We are easy; we need a PA and multiple outlets. Also, we need a stage big enough for the four of us. At smaller gigs, we can make do without a drummer.
