A true renaissance woman and embodiment of all the elements of hip-hop—this Chicago native has been musically driven for over two decades. A precocious child, she started piano lessons at five, ran her family’s church AV ministry by eight, and picked up the saxophone at ten—later becoming section leader in her high school marching band. But it was at Columbia College Chicago where everything took off. Living and learning in the heart of the city gave her the space to grow, connect, and create. She studied broadcast journalism while hosting parties, open mics, and showcases, building her brand as The Voice of the Streets and launching The Vicki Street Show in 2014—pioneering a lane that bridged television and the podcast world before it became mainstream. During the 2020 lockdown, she turned inward and began writing and performing her own music, releasing her debut EP With Everything Going On in 2022. Now a powerhouse music artist, media personality, event host, and DJ, she leads Jump Street Entertainment—creating opportunities, mentorship, and safe spaces for young creatives through partnerships with the Chicago Urban League and Chicago Housing Authority. Affectionately known to many as the Voice of the Streets, she is your girl, Vicki Street.
