Veronica Lopez, known to audiences as "La Consentida," is an award-winning singer,
songwriter, entertainer, and cultural ambassador whose powerful voice, magnetic stage
presence, and heartfelt performances have captivated audiences throughout the United States
and beyond. Petite in stature yet commanding on stage, Veronica's vocal style has drawn
comparisons to legendary artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Eydie Gormé, and the late Laura
Canales.
A seasoned performer since the age of seven, Veronica began singing Mariachi music at her
family's restaurant in California's San Fernando Valley. Those early performances ignited a
lifelong passion for music that would lead her to perform at cultural festivals, major fairs,
theaters, corporate events, charitable functions, and private celebrations throughout her career.
Her versatility allows her to perform Tejano, Conjunto, Mariachi, Country, Oldies, Banda, and

Veronica's original song America's Glory, known as "The Immigrant's Anthem," has touched
audiences nationwide. The song has been featured at historic events including the Immigrant
Workers Freedom Ride Rally in Washington, D.C., the Los Angeles Immigrant March attended
by more than 500,000 people, the Jackson Family Foundation's Legacy of the Legend Concert,
and the Las Vegas Latin Music Awards. Through this powerful composition, Veronica honors the
sacrifices, dreams, and contributions of immigrant families across America.
Her empowering hit “Mujeres” became an international anthem celebrating women of all sizes
and backgrounds. The song was featured on Univision's El Gordo y La Flaca and Despierta
América, earning airplay on hundreds of radio stations worldwide. In 2025, Veronica re-recorded
and re-released the song in San Antonio, Texas, giving it a fresh Tejano sound while preserving
its message of self-confidence, beauty, and empowerment.
Throughout her career, Veronica has released seven albums spanning multiple genres,
showcasing her versatility as both an artist and songwriter. Her seventh album, Mi Sueño,
marked her official entry into the Tejano music world and represented the fulfillment of a lifelong
dream. Produced in San Antonio by renowned producer Javier Villarreal, the project reflects her
deep respect for Tejano culture and traditional Tex-Mex music.
In 2025, Mi Sueño achieved a major career milestone when it was placed on the Latin Grammy
ballot for Record of the Year and Tejano Record of the Year. The project further established
Veronica as one of the emerging voices helping expand the reach of Tejano music beyond its
traditional markets.
That same year, Veronica received a nomination for Best New Female Artist of the Year at the
Tejano Music Awards, further solidifying her growing influence within the genre and her mission
to bring Tejano music to new audiences.
Continuing her dedication to authentic Tejano music, Veronica released Ritmo De Amor, a
highly anticipated duet with Tejano icon Chente Barrera. She later followed with En Mi
Calendario, written by Joel Villarreal and produced by Javier Villarreal and Frank Villarreal. The
recording highlights her commitment to preserving the traditional sounds of Tejano music while
adding her own unique style and emotional interpretation.
Her songwriting talent has earned numerous honors, including a Las Vegas Latin Music Award
and recognition as an Ambassador for Peace for her inspirational song Humanity. In one of the
defining moments of her career, Veronica's original composition Humanity was selected from
more than 150 submissions to be featured at the Get Together NOW! Charity Concert held on
May 30, 2026, at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. The event honored the legacy of
legendary singer-songwriter Jesse Colin Young and united acclaimed musicians, actors, and
humanitarian leaders in a celebration of peace, kindness, acceptance, and unity. Written in
response to the 2017 Las Vegas tragedy, Humanity embodies Veronica's belief in the healing
power of music and the importance of bringing people together.
Veronica's commitment to humanitarian work extends beyond her music. She proudly serves as
the Latin Liaison for the Jackson Family Foundation, helping strengthen relationships between
the Foundation and Latino communities throughout the United States and internationally. In a
historic achievement, Veronica was the only Latin artist selected to perform in Gary, Indiana,
during the celebration honoring the life and legacy of Michael Jackson. Her participation
