I’m Vala Vincent a family and newborn photographer in and around Golden and Evergreen Colorado. I am an on location portrait photographer that uses natural light as a main light source. I will travel to a location of your choice (travel charges might apply if further then 30 miles).

All my family sessions take place in the afternoon shortly before sundown so the timing depends on the season. The reason I do this, is that the light outside is the most favorable for the great pictures you are investing in. It is my goal as a family photographer to create memories for you and your loved ones that can be cherished for decades to come. I strive to capture you and your children in the moment being the wonderful and beautiful you. You probably will not see that many pictures with everyone portraying frozen smiles at the camera which can be fairly fake. You will on the other hand see sweet moments between your kids, or a well deserved laugh from the parents coming from the bottom of their toes.

My newborn sessions take place in your home. I will bring special gear and set up a little travel studio in the room that poses the best light. These sessions can be at any time during daylight and preferably at an earlier time in the day to make sure we have enough time to finish our pictures with a happy baby on our hands (typically 3-5 hours). My goal as a newborn photographer is to create a safe, warm and comfortable environment for your little one which will make the newborn session go smoothly and provide great pictures for your precious memories.

Don’t delay creating your memories, we don’t know what tomorrow holds. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t your ideal weight or you are having a bad hair day or whatever else your excuse is. Your loved ones will see you, the person they love and cherish, not how your hair looks or if you are a few pounds overweight. None of that matters, all that matters is that we have something visual to look back on and smile at the memories you created.
