Vaiano's Paisanos

Our music is as well suited for the background of cocktail receptions and dinners as it is the attentive listeners of wedding ceremonies and house concerts. Typically performing as a duo of violin and guitar, we are occasionally augmented to a trio by a mandolin. Our music can be raucous and lively, or sweet and refined. Our repertoire is largely made up of traditional string band music from the golden age of recording in the 1920s and 30s: Mexican polkas, Italians mazurkas, Venezuelan waltzes, American fiddle tunes and more!
