June 12, 2017Very nice man. Pre-event communication was prompt and professional. He arrived plenty early to get set up. His equipment isn't what I had in mind. I had envisioned a modern PA system (including mixer) with a laptop running the music, and decent mics. He has one or two small PA speakers (no stands). No laptop - he uses CDs and has a couple of older mics. Sound quality wasn't what I had expected. Maybe better suited for a smaller indoor event.

The review is unfair. He seems to be rather picky. IF he had specific requirements and needs he should have said so before booking. I provide a very high quality karaoke service and most others have been VERY HAPPY! Of course once in a while you get someone who wasn't happy for some reason and this is one of them. Most of those who are happy do NOT write reviews. A much higher percentage of unhappy ones do. That is why you may see an abundance of negative reviews and not very many positive reviews.
Onsite, customer was happy with how it went. Gave a tip which doesn't happen when the customer is not happy.
I use CDs for much better sound quality. I am regularly complimented on the high quality sound. Apparently this customer wanted lower quality MP+3 sound quality which others have when they use computers. There is nothing wrong with using CDs and I have a great song selection (all songs have been PAID FOR where many others using computers "steal" their music - not paid for).
I DO have a modern PA system and DID use a mixer.
Speakers were more than adequate for the size of the outdoor event. For this event, speaker stands would not have made any difference. Size does NOT necessarily mean high quality. I have FOUR microphones, not two, and there was nothing wrong with them. No one has ever complained (until now) about the microphones. They work just fine.
An attendee came up to me after I was done and complimented me on my performance and the song selection played when there were no specific requests. This usually happens and it did this time.
All in all, everything went fine except the customer did not provide electrical power (as promised before being booked) until the event was ready to start (no time for testing before the event started which ALL sound providers need). I arrived over an hour early to set up a large amount of equipment and once done waited over a half hour before electricity was provided. I arrive early to make sure I am set up

The quality of the song selection is MOST IMPORTANT for successful karaoke. Everything else is secondary. We have the best KARAOKE song selection you are probably find, likely every song you and your guests will want to sing. Songs of ALL TYPES, for ALL AGES and for EVERYONE at your party. Your guests will have a lot more fun and sing more when they can sing their favorite or special songs. Singers always rave about our large and comprehensive selection. "They have it!" is a comment we hear all the time. We keep you singing as long as you want to sing. 100% of the time is reserved for YOU and YOUR guests to sing. We don't take up YOUR time singing ourselves (as many others do).

* TWO TV screens, one for the singer and one for the audience. Singers face and "perform" for the audience and the audience can see the words too (more fun that way). IF desired, we can also connect to your TV or TV system, giving you three (or more) TV screens. An optional projector is available (with advance notice - extra cost).
* Song books with listings in alphabetical order by both artist and title. Makes it easy to find your favorite songs.
* Our song list is shown on our web site so you (and/or your guests) can view it prior to the party or event.
* We are big on customer service and we answer "live" most of the time, days and evenings, including weekends and holidays. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. (At times you will get voicemail, especially when we serving a customer. But IF you get voicemail, leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.)

Our rates are reasonable and you get superior karaoke with many thousands more songs and more equipment than most others.
We will be happy to serve you at the last minute if the date and time are available. But the sooner you book the more likely we will be available. At times we can provide karaoke in two places on one day if they do not conflict with each other (timewise).
=== Note: We are not always at the computer. It will be worth it to wait for our response before getting your karaoke if we don't respond within a few minutes. We always respond as soon as possible, many times just a few minutes after we receive your gig request (but GM may delay sending it for quite a while after you submit it).

Our karaoke song list is shown on our web site. It includes many songs on the radio today, plus thousands of older songs. We have show tunes, childrens songs, Spanish songs. A separate list shows songs that are duets.
