Myself and a roadie will come in at least an hour before showtime. We'll find where you want the stage, and set up our sound, lighting, and stage equipment. It will look very professional. If you like we can play some music as folks anticipate the show.
When the show begins, I'll kick things off as an emcee / host, telling a few jokes and warming up the crowd. Then, depending on what exactly you want, we'll bring out one or two comedians to open things up with shorter sets, and then a headliner who delivers a longer and hilarious closing set.
The ideal show lasts 70-85 minutes. That's enough for people to feel satisfied, but if you go much longer than that it gets tiring.
Uri Shatil is a comedian and emcee who's been performing in the Boston area since 2017. He's produced and hosted multiple successful shows around Boston at venues such as The Green Briar, Ricardo's Ristorante, Canary Square, and he currently produces a weekly Saturday night comedy show at Democracy Brewing.
In addition to production and hosting, Uri as a comedian stands alone. With a relentlessly down-to-Earth delivery and a knack for dissecting the deepest insecurities of life and identity, his comedy combines heavy concepts and stupid thoughts. He has performed at countless venues in New England and beyond, such as Nick's Comedy Stop and Hideout Comedy in Boston, the Ruby Room in Manchester, NH, and the Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, TN.
