Overview

AJ Hapenny is a comedian known for sharp wordplay, quick wit, and turning everyday audiences into part of the show (voluntarily… usually). With over 200,000 social media followers, AJ has become a frequently requested performer throughout the Northeast.

A triple threat!

A.J. was booked for not one, not two, but three services that he hit everything out of the park! Our initial meet and greet with A.J. allowed each of us to provide him with the information about my fiancé and myself that he made personable on the day of our wedding. This shows how A.J. can be creative and also have fun with it at the same time which we loved right from the beginning!

All the guests enjoyed A.J.'s presence and really said how well he's doing with everything. The party kept moving along and announcements were made when needed to keep guests aware of what was happening. We appreciate the charisma and wit throughout the day that we couldn't have been any more luckier to have A.J. be part of our wedding! Recommending him to one of my guests will be easy as they all loved him and I can't wait until one of them books him for their wedding!

Wedding at Wright Lock Farm

Everyone enjoyed the wedding and how AJ Happening officiated it. It was raining, so the ceremony was held under a tree, and it was moved quickly so everyone could go to the reception hall to be more comfortable. The wedding speech was just as we had hoped, and we talked beforehand to tell him what we wanted.

Celebration of Life for Papa Ray

AJ was absolutely awesome throughout the whole planning process to the day of our event. As we were putting a Celebration of Life for my dad/father in law Papa Ray it evolved into an amazing family reunion with over 125 people. AJ really wanted to get to know my dad by asking questions to have a fuller understanding of him.. I was really describing a “ Kramer from Seinfeld meets Mr Magoo”. AJ laughed, loved it and took all the points, events, hobbies, and habits my dad did or had throughout his years and incorporated it all into a very funny, laughable, enjoyable skit.
Everyone in the room was shaking their heads up and down “yeeesss” and saying that’s Papa Ray 100%.
AJ also allowed our family and friends to come up and “tell a story” and our son to join us all in prayer as we remembered Papa Ray in a very good enjoyable bright light. I highly recommend AJ for your event -whatever the occasion- He will listen to you and execute perfectly 100%!!!!!!

What to expect

I range anywhere between PG and 18+ for content, & I can work around just about any budget.
Depending on the length of the show you would like I may bring additional comedians to fill in the time, it brings variety to your event and it is all included in the cost.
It's generally best if the guests know there is comedy ahead of time, rather than surprise them. Folks may get defensive, and fear they are going to be picked on.
