Urban Flamenka offers a unique combination of fiery and highly skilled flamenco dance with enchanting Spanish music. Lead dancer, Cristina Moguel has over 20 years experience dancing in theaters in Spain, New York, Mexico, Los Ángeles, and touring most of the United States with Flamenco Vivo and most recently with Flamenco Flavor -NYC. Cristina is now excited to offer her artistic passion to audiences in her native Los Ángeles and Orange County communities.
Based out of Angeles, Cristina & Co. offer edgy and passionate Flamenco expression coupled with a tinge of urban flavor that set the mood and and excitement to any event.

Cristina and her Team are beyond amazing and accommodating. She went above and beyond to teach my wife and me all the steps for this one particular song that we wanted to perform on and help made our event a successful one. I highly recommend using her services for any and all events and her crew were equally Super, especially her Guitarists and her dancers. Wonderful people with great Professionalism and I can’t wait to see them all again soon for my next event. I am extremely grateful to her and her crew for an absolutely splendid performance.

October 16, 2022Wow! BEAUTIFUL PROFESSIONAL PERFORMERS
I had the pleasure of organizing a black tie event for a huge hospital fundraiser in our area. We hired Urban Flamenka to create atmosphere during cocktail hour, as well as during the very important show.
From start to finish Cristiana was professional, had great communication, and happily talked to us multiple times to ensure she knew exactly what we were looking for.
She was also able to communicate with the guitarist we hired, and they came up with a beautiful show that entranced all of the guests.
She was professional, had beautiful costumes, knew exactly what to do, and you could tell was a seasoned performer.
If you are looking for PASSIONATE Flamenco performers, I would start and end with her. She can handle all of your needs big or small, and is very direct and easy to communicate with, which can be very very hard to find in the dance world!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

About
Cristina is a native Angelina born and raised here in Los Ángeles.
Cristina studied dance here in Los Ángeles with Liliana Torsiello De León and soon moved to Spain to study with many flamenco artists in Madrid. She has worked with the Carlota Santana Flamenco Vivo company (New York), the Metropolitan Opera “Carmen” , Passion y Arte flamenco company in (Philadelphia), and with Compania Esencia Flamenca-directed by Antonio Rodríguez in various parts of Mexico. Currently she performs with Flamenco Flavor flamenco dance group (New York), Flamencos de Tulum (Mexico), and has started her own dance Project called Urban Flamenka here in Los Ángeles.

-close to an Outlet or 🔌 plug- we can bring an extension cord if need be.
- FLAT LEVEL SURFACE to place flat wooden stage. (Grass works well if flat as well).
-PARKING FEES 🚗 are not included in the artists fee and will need to be provided by client, or reimbursed. Thank you.
-if at night, it would be great to be placed by a lit area 💡.
-if plugging into the DJ for solo performances if I can get in contact with the DJ to give them my set
