Overview

Upper Structure is an award winning co-ed a cappella group from Berklee College of Music. Our most recent accomplishments are placing 2nd overall at the 2018 ICCA Final and being featured on the Best of Collegiate A Cappella 2018 album for their rendition of “She Used to Be Mine"! Based out of Boston, Upper Structure strives to bring an emotional and innovative take on music through a cappella music. About

Upper Structure was founded in 2015, making them the youngest a cappella group at Berklee College of Music. From humble beginnings, the group quickly rose to national recognition, placing second at ICCA Finals in 2018 and 2021 and third in 2024, earning special awards for Best Choreography, Best Vocal Percussion, and Best Arrangement. Upper Structure was named champion of the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival in 2020 and again in 2023 following the festival’s post-COVID return, receiving awards for Outstanding Arrangement, Best Rhythm Section, Outstanding Movement, and Outstanding Soloist. Most recently, they released their EP LAAF 2023, which won the 2024 CARA Award for the song “Salvation.” Follow their journey @upperstructureacappella on all social media and streaming platforms.
