Though The Harmony Jewels was born out of a love of Christmas music, we have since expanded our repertoire to include American standards for patriotic events, Hymns and gospel for weddings and memorials and swings tunes for other functions!

1. Solo singer with or without her guitar for Parties, Weddings, Memorials, Women's Conferences and events, Corporate functions, Charity Benefits, Church events, nursing homes and more. She sings favorite covers from the 40's to current acoustic hits with some special focus on the folk rockers of the 70's: JT, Carol King, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell etc... and has 4 CD's out of original inspirational folk/ jazz/ country as well.

2. The Harmony Jewels is all a cappella: 2 men, 2 women singing all your favorite Christmas carols, gospel/ hymns or patriotic anthems in Lush harmony! Great for town or corporate events and private parties and elderly communities.

3. Julie is a Christian artist and sings with her own church praise team. She loves to sings solo or with LIFLIGHT contemporary christian hits and old favorite hymns and originals for festivals, churches, conferences and benefits.

4. As "Happy Julie" she gets kids laughing, singing and dancing along. In addition to performing for kids at parties she spent over 10 years teaching music in schools and many years directing music at church. Children's Parties/ School Shows: Happy Julie children's entertainer enjoys showing up with her guitar to lead all the kids' favorite sing-a-long songs! Jazz Lovers: Julie went to Berklee College of Music on a Jazz Masters scholarship- it's in her bones! Whether you are looking for classy background music or upfront entertainment, you will not be disappointed by her gorgeous renditions of jazz favorites and originals.-And Julie CAN SCAT!

Brides: She is not only great with a crowd, she can make your big day that much more special by writing you and your groom a custom wedding song about your personal love story. She has played hundreds of weddings. Let her help you plan the music to make it extra wonderful!

For Memorials: She can sing with your pianist (or her own) standards like "Ave Maria" or contemporary praise songs such as "I Can Only Imagine"- She will also lead the guests in "How Great Thou Art", "Amazing Grace" or other congregational songs if desired. She has written special songs for memorials, too.

Women's Events: Many have noted that Julie's original music speaks particularly well to women- especially Moms. Having written and recorded numerous songs for specific Christian women's events,she is a master at tayloring her performance to your unique theme. Her music beams with life experience, humor and faith. She also accepts engagements to speak.

Elderly: She has encouraged hundreds of our seniors at nursing homes over the years while singing her special mix of standards and musical theater. She might even bring her singing 12 year old daughter for a special treat!

Julie Kinscheck, Queen of SCAT, is a dynamic singer/ songwriter/ guitarist and band leader, Children’s entertainer, worship leader and Mom. She has a mission to bring fun and hope whether performing as a solo or with one of her various groups.

Personal stuff:
Kinscheck grew up in Ithaca, NY across from a wheat field. She started singing 70's folk rock hits as a little girl on her guitar, also writing her own songs and dreaming of being discovered! Eventually, her music took her on a street tour of Europe, playing all the town squares with an open guitar case...

Oberlin Conservatory, Berklee College of Music and Westminster Choir College and a whole lot of bands later, Kinscheck is still doing music for a living. She has put out 4 original artist albums and various singles, plays gigs as a solo, with The Harmony Jewels, Moon Glow Jazz, Class6Band and sings on the praise team at church. She is happily married to her keyboard playing audio engineer hubby, Ralph!

The Harmony Jewels, Kinscheck's a ‘cappella Band, came together to sing a special Christmas party in 2014 and never stopped! The group started with 4 friends from the praise team at church and evolved into a stellar pro group of fantastic vocalists with great ears for harmonies and a penchant for fun!

The group comes out as 4 singers, Soprano (always Julie), Alto, Tenor and Bass- but there are actually 7 members in the group that mix and match to make sure they are available for as many wonderful events as possible. The main members are: Paul (bass) has beat boxing skills and deep solid bass lines, Andrea (Alto) is a soloist herself with fantastic pop style, and Jim (Tenor) is a Musical Theatre Pro and Julie’s singing buddy in church for 30 years! Julie, Paul and Andrea are also all voice professors at Berklee College of Music. Their main repertoire has been Christmas Carols traditional to pop. Recently, the group has expanded to patriotic favorites, spirituals, hymns and selected love songs.
