Ultrasound Quartet

Expect four well dressed professional musicians playing very swinging jazz standards + originals. Expect interesting solos, lots of interplay between the musicians and a carefully chosen mix of our favourite, often obscure jazz standards and originals. We are careful to match our volume level to the room and ensure that we get great tone from our instruments. Jazz fans can expect an engaging jazz concert while those less versed in jazz will be impressed by our pleasant and sophisticated sound and look.

The Ultrasound jazz quartet combines cool jazz and hard bop elements with unexpected grooves and ostinatos to bring you a fresh take on the jazz quartet. Named after the special magic wand that the doctor uses to inspect your 👶, Ultrasound looks inside your heart and brings you the sounds you need.
With its focus on having a unified sound, the Ultrasound Jazz Quartet has no strict band leader and is thus made up of four equal musical pillars - Featuring the sultry blowing of Evan on sax, the gentle massaging of the guitar by Eli, the rambunctious curiosity of Josh on drums, and whatever Casey does on bass, Ultrasound propagates sound waves through the medium of your life.

Our only requirement is 2 power outlets and roughly 8x8 feet for comfortable setup; smaller stages may be considered. We are all based out of HRM and will most readily accept offers within this area. Prices will be negotiated based on location and playing time requested.
