On time arrival, clean and professional setup. We always start on time, and play 3-4 sets with appropriate breaks. We provide recorded music for between sets. We have a professional sound engineer on-site that manages the overall volume and sound. We bring our own lights that keep the energy on the dance floor rocking.
Our bread and butter is classic rock from the 70's and 80's, and we are known in particular for our ability to deliver the great "arena rock" tunes of that era. Some of the greatest rock tunes in history from bands like Journey, Bon Jovi, and Led Zeppelin form the cornerstones of our show. We mix in some bluesy roots rock, a little modern country, and round out the sets with some funky Top 40.
Twisted Fate is a band born from the ashes of a handful of Eastern Shore cover bands around the Cambridge area. Combining the best talents of those defunct bands, Twisted Fate brings a high energy blend of classic rock, funk, Top 40, and country to venues all over the Delmarva region. Played through a top-of-the-line custom PA system, and supported by a dazzling display of laser and light, this band brings it each and every night... and brings it hard.
Jeff Weir (vocals and keyboard) is a college band director by day, rock vocalist by night. Having played in some of the areas most recent bands, The Absolute and Bad Apple, Jeff combines a killer voice with years of professional musical education to keep the songs true to the original, but with an added dose of high octane. He also brings a solid set of keyboard chops to fill out the sound of Twisted Fate.
Mark Fleetwood (guitar and vocals) is a true veteran of the Eastern Shore music scene, having paid his dues in local favorites such as ESP and Stomping Grounds. With a no nonsense approach to music, Mark can easily flip the switch from bluesy, soulful riffs to searing, virtuosic leads. While he might be a man of few words, his voice is truly gifted, adding perfect harmonies to each and every Twisted Fate song. Also an accomplished songwriter, keep your ears ready for an original Mark Fleetwood tune every now and again.
Donnie Cannon (bass and vocals) is the heartbeat of the group, bringing a hard-nosed bass sensibility and solid groove to the setlist. Formerly playing with Sweetwater, his funky grooves are delivered with dance floor shaking authority, and that is what sets Donnie's playing apart from the rest. While his bass keeps the groove on lockdown, his background vocal harmonies keep the melodies soaring, adding a whole different dimension to the band's sound.
Rusty Ewell (drums) is a pure connoisseur of classic rock. Formerly providing the backbeat for several Eastern Shore bands such as The Absolute, Bad Apple, and Stomping Grounds, he sets the foundation of the Twisted Fate sound. Rusty's rock solid tempos, tasty grooves, and hard hitting power all combine to keep the dance floor popping.
We have access to several different PA systems, so we can play any size venue, indoors or outdoors.
We need six to eight 120V outlets to make sure power gets to all of the production elements (instruments, amps, PA, and lights).
