Singer/songwriter Bridgette Michaels is an experienced local musician who weaves reggae vibes throughout the fabric of her culturally diverse music. She was born in Jamaica, grew up in Trinidad, and has lived for 20 years across the east coast of the US. Uniquely, Bridgette has a PhD in oceanography and smoothly incorporates a Caribbean feel along with ocean themes in her original music. In addition to her original song repertoire, she plays popular, well-known cover songs loved by generations. Bridgette performs as a solo artist, a duo, and with her band Guava Jelly. Her music is broadly diverse, high-energy, and joyful. Get transported to the islands and enjoy her special vibe!

Bridgette and Dawn (Guava Jelly) provide great music for parties for anyone from 1-99 years old. They play a great mix of music on guitar and drums with a Caribbean Island acoustic feel. Bridgette was born in Jamaica and grew up in Trinidad and sings lead vocals and Dawn, originally from New Jersey, sings back-up. They both live in Annapolis, MD. Dawn plays the bongos, congas on an electric drum machine. They play original songs as well as kids' tunes, pop, reggae, country, rock and folk. They keep people entertained and engaged. They have played all over Maryland, Virginia and DC and have performed at The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Quiet Waters' Park in Annapolis, The Atlas in DC and lots of festivals, private parties and events.
