A Memphis native who began his DJ journey in Chattanooga while studying at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Cortland has spent 10+ years mastering the craft of event entertainment. Originally influenced by classic Hip-Hop and R&B through family and early musical memories, C-Real has expanded his musical palette to include a wide range of genres — from Top 40, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM to throwbacks, Latin, reggae, and more — giving him the versatility to read any crowd and create the perfect vibe for every moment.
Known for his seamless mixes, crowd interaction, and adaptive style, Cortland brings energy and professionalism to every event while tailoring the soundtrack to each client’s vision. When he’s not behind the decks creating memories, he enjoys quality time with his two sons, mentoring youth, watching sports, and hitting the basketball court.
