Tufts Beelzebubs

A Beelzebubs performance is a high-energy, entertaining a cappella show combining impressive vocal arrangements, humor, and plenty of audience interaction. Our repertoire spans contemporary pop hits, classic favorites, and recognizable songs, all performed entirely with our voices.

We also offer interactive vocal workshops for schools and student groups, customized to the age and experience level of the participants. Workshops can cover vocal technique, arranging, performance, and the fundamentals of collegiate a cappella, giving students a chance to learn directly from current Tufts performers.

Founded at Tufts University in 1962, the Tufts Beelzebubs are one of the oldest collegiate a cappella groups in the country. For more than 60 years, the Bubs have built a tradition around our motto, "Fun Through Song," bringing music, humor, and energy to audiences around the world.

Over the years, the Beelzebubs have performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall and Fenway Park to international stages and the White House. We have appeared on The Sing-Off, Good Morning America, Late Night with David Letterman, and Glee, where we voiced the Warblers.

Today, the Beelzebubs are made up of Tufts University students who balance academics with a shared passion for music and performance. We arrange and perform contemporary hits, classic songs, and original arrangements, while also bringing our music into schools through interactive vocal workshops.

From a small group of Tufts students to a nationally recognized a cappella ensemble, the Beelzebubs have spent six decades growing, performing, and spreading fun through song.

The Beelzebubs are flexible and can accommodate a wide range of venues and production setups. We can perform with whatever sound, lighting, and staging equipment is available at the venue, and we are happy to work with your event staff or production team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
