What to expect

When you come to one of my shows, expect more than just music — expect an experience. I bring high-energy rock and roll vibes that get the crowd moving from the first note to the last. I love engaging with the audience, using humor and sharp crowd awareness to keep everyone locked in and feeling connected. Every performance is a full-out experience — electric, unpredictable, and unforgettable. I take pride in giving fans a show they’ll talk about long after the lights go down. My goal is simple: make every stage moment bigger than life and leave you wanting more.

About

Triggz is the perfect fusion of raw rock & roll energy and gritty rap authenticity, creating a sound that bridges worlds and resonates with a diverse audience. Born Troy McDaniel in West Vallejo, CA, Triggz was raised by his loving grandmother after his mother faced personal challenges. He later moved to West Fairfield, where trouble found him early—by age 12, he was caught up in the streets, facing charges ranging from grand theft auto to the distribution of ecstasy and possession of firearms.

After serving time for a shooting, Triggz turned his life around, channeling his energy into two passions: working with dogs with behavioral issues and creating music that speaks truth, pain, growth, and freedom. His unique journey fuels his creative voice, blending rebellion, redemption, and resilience into every track.

Triggz makes music for the underdogs, the dreamers, the misfits, and anyone who needs that extra jolt of energy to keep pushing. His message is simple but powerful: stay real, have fun, and never stop being who you are. Positive vibes only.

Additional booking notes

My performance technique is simple — I don’t focus on the crowd, I focus on the energy they give. Working with dogs for years has taught me the power of energy and presence — how to read a room, feel the vibe, and respond in the moment. With enough rehearsals, every show should feel like a flawless run-through, natural and in sync. I don’t believe in last-minute changes or gimmicks — just pure, real performance. My goal is to give the fans the best show possible, every single time.

Influences and inspiration

My musical influences come from a mix of legends who each bring something unique to the stage. I grew up inspired by Mac Dre’s energy and authenticity, Lenny Kravitz’s rock and soul fusion, J. Cole’s storytelling and honesty, and Ed Sheeran’s raw musicality and connection with the crowd. Watching them perform taught me that great music isn’t just about sound — it’s about presence, emotion, and the ability to move people. Each of them has influenced my style in different ways, helping shape the artist I am today.
