Transmission Lost

You can expect to see a 4 piece band. 3-4 keyboards/Synths set up. 1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 drummer.

Our show is a show.... We pride ourselves on keeping the flow going... Never a dull moment. Ethereal transitions between songs to create the "Transmission Lost Experience" along with communication with the crowd to keep the audience engaged is our goal. We aim to entertain so you can enjoy.

Origin: Houston, TX

Transmission Lost is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Garret Ashton. He formed the project in 2018 when he started singing himself for the first time. For years, he worked quietly in the background tweaking his sound with different instruments/FX until he finally found his sound... In 2021, his first song "LOSING MY MIND" came out and was an international success having gained over 140,000 streams on Spotify. With close to 7000 monthly Spotify listeners worldwide, Transmission Lost continues to grow into a household name.

After Ashton created enough material to warrant a show, he began his search for like minded musicians in 2023. First, he found 🥁 Moe (Mauricio Aburto) on drums. Moe had a network of top line musicians and soon thereafter brought along multi-instrumentalist 🎸🎹Freddy (Alfredo Olivera) to join the group. The 3 meshed well and knew right away that this was going to work! Then, the bass player... 🎸Ray Babauta stepped into the mix and the band was complete!

FREDDY: Guitar/Violin/Keys - A classically trained Pianist/Violinist/Guitarist. He teaches music lessons for a profession and is without a doubt the most talented and versatile musician Ashton has ever worked with.

MOE: Drums - A solid drummer who really knows his stuff. In addition to drums, Moe adds an additional dynamic as an amazing background vocalist. He always comes ready to play.

RAY: Bass - An amazing bass player with great sound and technique. Ray brings an amazing attitude to the band which has helped Transmission Lost progress tremendously.

GARRET: Lead Vocalist - His unique writing style delivers with hard hitting choruses and dynamic verses. Garret is very passionate about music and it plays a pivotal role in his life. Without it he would be lost. He hopes that with the addition of his talented band mates, Transmission Lost will be able put out even more attractive material for audiences to hear in the near future. He loves writing new music and hopes that someday he can do that full-time.

BAND CULTURE: Transmission lost is a clean and professional band. You can expect them to be on time and accommodate any reasonable pre-requisites/requests. (Note: Transmission Lost is not a cover band but they may play a few covers in their own style during the show.)

We can bring a PA for additional fee. The fee depends on how big the playing area is and what size of PA is needed. We can also go quieter with an electronic drum set. Whatever you need!
