Track 4 Visual Arts

Our team of painters will arrive approximately 15 minutes before painting is scheduled to begin.
We will bring our own paints, glitters, body gems, sample binder, sidewalk and table signage, treated cleaning waters, paper towels, trash cans, etc.

We appreciate any setup items that clients can provide for us, such as tables, folding chairs, or tents, but have these items on hand to bring with us. Fresh water access is always appreciated in case we need a refill!

Our painters wear face paint and facial gems, and sometimes arrive in brightly colored costumes as may be appropriate for the event. We like to have fun, too! If you'd like to have us wear anything special, like black pants/shirt, please request that at booking.

Each client to be painted can choose from our sample book or discuss their custom request. We try to fill all requests as we are able, and may direct custom requests to a specific or more advanced artist at the event, if necessary.

Clients are requested to socially distance while waiting in line for their turn.
Artists will wear face masks by request, and we use sanitizing techniques between clients.

I'm Delia and as a mom to four teens, a computer trainer, graphic designer, yarn crafter, and visual artist... I enjoy all things creative and have buckets of patience to boot!

I am a self-taught artist who loves to use watercolor, inks, and pencil, and have been practicing various styles of calligraphy since I was 11 years old. I hold a Master's Degree in Visual Communication Design where I learned about Typography and the way our eyes and brain naturally process information which has helped me advance in all areas of my creative arts.

I volunteered as a face painter for years before finally deciding that I love it enough to make it job. My team of painters currently consists of my teenage daughters who are talented artists, as well!

We will gently talk with your child throughout the process so they are calm and at ease with their face painting experience. We do NOT hold your child by their head or forcefully turn their face. We believe that gentle pressure with one finger under the chin is sufficient enough to direct your child to help us paint them effectively. If your child is nervous or fidgety, they will have the chance to feel the brush on their hand before we start painting, and we ask their preferences for colors, gems, and glitters.

If your child is neuro-divergent or experiences sensory problems, you'll find myself and my team of painters to be patient, calming, and soothing throughout the painting experience. One painter is in college to be an elementary teacher has worked with toddlers with special needs as a teaching assistant, as well.

We believe that each child should have the chance to experience the fun of face paint! Our attention to the child's overall experience MAY mean a slightly longer wait in line at a busy festival, but the end results (a happy child!!) are totally worth it to us.
