Total Request with Seth

Remember those choose your own adventure books you used to read from your school's library? Remember TRL? Well, Seth's show takes the common element from those two things and incorporates it into his shows. He typically doesn't go by a set list. He hands out song menus to audience members and let's them choose the music they want to hear. He takes requests via text or from the good ole fashion yell from the back of the room. Audiences love being able to have a say in picking the music, and his shows usually end up 90% requests or higher.

Seth is a singer-songwriter based in Cookeville, TN with years of acoustic cover gigs and live band shows under his belt. He grew up on TRL on MTV and wanted to incorporate a similar vibe into his music shows. No longer wanting to be limited to what a band can learn to play or how big of a sound a solo acoustic musician can produce. Seth set off to develop a one-man band act where the audience guides the set list via requests. He plays guitar, harmonica, whistles, and uses the techno-wizardry of a giant pedalboard to add in drums, bass, keys, harmonies, and layered guitar sounds. No tracks, all live.

Seth's song menu currently has over 470+ cover songs, and he is constantly adding to the mix. While there is a strong influence of those late 90s/early 2000s MTV pop/rock hits, Seth has a little bit of everything in his repertoire. At his typical shows, he hands out song menus, and the audience can text in or catch him between songs to make requests for their favorites. It's an interactive experience and never the same show twice! However, Seth can tailor a set list or dial back to just acoustic depending the needs of the event and venue. Looking for original music? Seth has plenty of folk-rock originals that also get requested regularly. Looking for oldies? Seth has songs in his menu spanning back to the 1950s. Wanting to have Seth play a song not currently in his song menu? With enough notice when booking, most anything is possible!

Seth uses Bose line array sound equipment that can fill large spaces without overpowering small spaces, and he provides his own lighting effects depending on the venue needs. The wall of sound coming from just a guy and a guitar is possible due to a Beatbuddy drum pedal, an Aeros looper, a TC Helicon VoiceLive 3, a Boss OC-5 octave pedal, and a Boss SY-200 synth pedal controlled through MIDI to make a much fuller band-like sound.

Requires a nearby source of stable, clean electricity. Seth provides his own lighting (Chauvet Gigbar and Stomplight) and PA system (Bose L1 Pro 16).

Can provide a secondary microphone for announcements if notified beforehand.
