June 8, 2026I was concerned that he would be the right artist based on his title. However, we discussed my request and agreed NO caricatures and that the drawing would be a likeness. He even sent examples of what he drew which were true likeness of the subjects. However, much to the disappointment of my guests what was sketched was a caricaturewere. My guests and I were ALL disappointed as he drew caricature vs a portrait.
And, he left 30 mins before the contracted time and I only knew because I saw him packed getting into the elevator.

I typically arrive 15-30 minutes before your event starts to set up. All I really need to set up is my easel and art supplies, and a set of 3 chairs, one for me and two for guests. It takes me about 5 minutes to draw a guest, and while I do, I keep them entertained with light jokes and conversation until the drawing is finished and ready to be shown to them. Once they see the drawing, I put it in a protector bag and they are then set on their way. Rinse and repeat until the close of the event!
I'm a caricature artist based in the Tampa Bay area. I've done caricatures at Walt Disney World, The Florida Aquarium, birthday parties, and company events!
For daytime events, provided chairs are helpful, although if chairs need to be provided by myself, I can certainly do so.
For night time events, access to power is desirable, so I can have the guests and my easel lit up properly.
