Renee was advised several times that my material is for adult audiences only and my material was over the edge. She assured me that it was an adult birthday party that would be in a private room at a local restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant, I told her that the room in the back of the restaurant for the party had no doors on the room. I warned her again that my material was adults only nd I wasn’t comfortable with no doors. She assured me that no one in the restaurant could hear me and she said itshe was cool with that. Renee told me that I was a surprise for her partner and birthday girl, and she introduced me to everyone there as Steve, her friend from work. At the last moment, Renee introduced me as Tony Viagra, and I started doing standup. The birthday girl, Jean, didn’t appreciate the surprise guest and adult humor and stopped me during my standup. Renee’s surprise for the birthday girl backfired on Renee and now she is throwing Tony Viagra under the bus. Renee’s review is disengenious with no basis in fact. In fact, it’s a gross distortion of fact and omission where a Renee is trying to save face where her surprise didn’t go with the birthday girl as she had planned.
