Comedy Night Fundraiser

I held a comedy fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors Project and Tom was the best decision we made. We had 3 comedians that night and Tom was the one i got the most compliments on. He was professional and easy to work with. I changed the venue by over 20 miles and he stayed on board without question. He also brought an opening act that was also very funny. Tom also volunteered to host after my comedy host never showed up. This really helped me out and shows what a true professional he is. I hope to work with him in the future as he was hilarious and great work with.

Great Show

We hired Tom for my brother in laws birthday party. Tom brought along a second comedian to perform as an opening act. We knew Tom was bringing an additional person, but another comedian, what a great idea. Both performers did a great job and we would definitely recommend them.

What to expect

Expect a fast-paced, engaging comedy show filled with smart, relatable humor about everyday life, work, relationships, family, and the unexpected situations we all find ourselves in. Tom's conversational style and quick wit help audiences feel like they're laughing with a friend rather than simply watching a performance.

No two audiences are exactly alike, which is why every show is tailored to fit the event. Whether you're looking for a clean corporate performance, a fundraising event, a private party, or an adults-only comedy show, Tom works with organizers in advance to make sure the material matches the audience and the occasion.

Most importantly, your guests can expect a fun, memorable night full of laughter without anyone becoming the target of the joke. Tom's goal is simple: create an experience that leaves audiences talking about your event long after the show is over.

About

Tom Stewart's comedy career began as a simple bucket list challenge that quickly turned into a lifelong passion. After taking his first comedy class in 2010, he stepped on stage for the first time—and never looked back. More than 15 years later, Tom has become one of New England's busiest comedians, entertaining audiences at comedy clubs, theaters, casinos, corporate events, fundraisers, festivals, and private parties throughout the Northeast.

Tom's comedy is built around smart, relatable observations about everyday life, work, relationships, and the unexpected moments we all experience. His conversational style, quick wit, and ability to connect with audiences have made him a favorite with clients looking for a show that's both memorable and appropriate for their event.

A winner of the 2017 Cape Cod Comedy Festival, Tom has also performed in the Boston Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, and Palm Springs Comedy Festival. He has appeared at legendary venues including Comix at Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods Resort Casino, New York Comedy Club, Catch A Rising Star, Flappers, and many others. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with nationally recognized comedians including Gilbert Gottfried, Mark Normand, Joe List, Judy Gold, Rich Vos, Dom Irrera, Jim Florentine, Craig Gass, Lenny Clarke, Rachel Feinstein, Ben Bailey, Colin Kane, Michael Winslow, and others.

Before becoming a full-time comedian, Tom spent more than 25 years in radio and television, working throughout New England both on-air and behind the scenes. His broadcasting career included reporting for NBC 10's Sunrise and serving as morning show host at Today's Easy 99.1 WPLM. That experience helped develop the confidence, timing, and stage presence that audiences enjoy today.

Beyond stand-up, Tom is an experienced live event host and emcee, producing and performing at more than 50 fundraising events each year as Manager of the Massachusetts branch of Funny4Funds. He has hosted events at premier venues including the Providence Performing Arts Center, the Rhode Island Convention Center, the Dunkin' Donuts Center, and many others while working alongside organizations such as DARE, the Station Fire Memorial Foundation, the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, and numerous charitable organizations throughout New England.

In 2025, Tom was named Executive Director of the Rhode Island Comedy Hall of Fame, continuing his commitment to supporting and promoting the region's comedy community.

Whether performing a clean corporate show, an adult comedy club set, or something in between, Tom works closely with every client to tailor each performance to the audience and create a show that fits the occasion perfectly.

Additional booking notes

Every venue is different, and Tom will work with you before the event to determine the ideal setup for the best possible performance. A quality sound system, microphone, microphone stand, stage or designated performance area, and appropriate lighting are recommended for most shows.

If your venue does not provide these items, Tom can supply many of the essentials, including a Bose® professional sound system, wireless microphone, microphone stand, LED spotlight, pipe-and-drape backdrop, and a small portable stage. If your venue already has audio and lighting available, Tom is happy to work with your existing equipment and technical staff to ensure a smooth, professional performance.

Influences and inspiration

Tom's comedy has been influenced by comedians who combine smart writing, sharp observations, and genuine storytelling. Among his biggest influences are Jerry Seinfeld's ability to find humor in everyday life, Johnny Carson's timeless professionalism and effortless stage presence, Jim Gaffigan's relatable storytelling, Bill Burr's honest point of view, and Neil Brennan's intelligent, thought-provoking writing. While inspired by many of comedy's greats, Tom has developed a style and voice that's uniquely his own.
