Learn and Lead Webinar: Facilitate Your Career

Tom provided a 60-minute webinar that focused on self-improvement toward becoming a better leader. He was organized, professional and was a pleasure to work with. As the organizer, I had the opportunity to see attendee positive feedback from an audience that included a wide array of attendees ranging from employee to executive. Tom sustained interest throughout, and more than half remained well past the scheduled end of our webinar. Tom’s session hit the mark!

Identify Priorities to Achieve More of Your Goals

Tom approached time management from the perspective of identifying personal values first, then aligning your time. Once you have done that, it becomes much easier to make decisions about time and achieve the results you want. Tom’s engaging manner provided an environment of open discussion and individual learning for our members.

His energy is infectious

As our 13th year was drawing to a close, we at Leadership Washington County were looking for a speaker to drive home the essence of our curriculum to our current class. I met Tom through a mutual friend, and I knew right away he was the perfect choice to be our closing speaker.

He agreed to speak at our “Leadership in a Changing Society” session, and our participants discovered how to integrate their values and beliefs into their own leadership styles and learned about communicating and connecting with their staff on a higher level. His energy was infectious, and our group responded better than I had even hoped. One comment from our class resonated with me and best captures Tom’s message, “Tom provided a deeper, more refined approach to leadership for me; I feel more confident in my own style as a result.”

He drove home our message beautifully, and we plan to invite him back to open our class for next year.

Be A Part of Something Greater

Tom was asked to spend a morning session that would inspire my staff toward greater cooperation and teamwork. His presentation was extremely effective. Simply put, by lunch there was a buzz in the office that I had not seen in years.

About

Like you, author and leadership expert Tom Crea has seen the words leadership and management used interchangeably. Is there a difference? Is there a distinction between power and authority? What does it mean to delegate? Can you delegate responsibility?

Tom is a product of the oldest and perhaps best leadership development program in the world: the military. With more than three decades of coaching, speaking, and most importantly, practical leadership experience, his view is one of fundamentals.

Tom has more than 20 years of leadership experience and today speaks to organizations worldwide. As a retired Army officer and Blackhawk helicopter pilot, Tom interacted with employees at every level, from Private to 4-star General. Today, he shares frontline and “in the trenches” lessons in leadership and team building, helping audiences connect his leadership experiences to their environment.

His greatest achievement involved leaders who deployed his former unit to combat and returned safely.
