As a children's performer, Tim Van Egmond delights kids and families with sing-alongs accompanied by guitar, mountain dulcimer, limberjack (a wooden puppet that beats a rhythm dancing on a paddle board), and even mouth bow. From songs of silliness to songs of imagination and creativity, Tim will captivate and enchant children and parents alike. An experienced artist-educator, he collaborates with teachers to support educational goals with his activities, especially for special needs and inclusion.
Tim is also a talented and versatile performer for adult audiences at festivals, senior centers, museums, libraries, etc. He plays beautiful hammered dulcimer music for weddings and memorials.

May 18, 2017Tim is very soft spoken, and tried his best to engage the kids--but It was my mistake to arrange a musician for the birthday party of a 5 year old. Kids were too impatient to listen to music. Lesson learnt.
