Tim Stanley

Tim Stanley specializes in all styles of jazz music ranging from the 1920s to present. The size of the band can be anywhere from 2 to 5 musicians. The various groups are best suited for corporate or private cocktail parties for any occasion. Desired number/instrumentation of musicians and and special music requests can be discussed. Bands are comprised of the most acclaimed and in-demand performers from the Baltimore/Washington DC area.
What to expect:
Musicians will arrive with ample set-up time, ready to play at scheduled start time.

The band will hold themselves to the highest professional musical standard. Additionally, the band will be dressed appropriately for whichever event is being held.

The band will leave the venue/performance space as it was before our arrival.

Trumpeter, vocalist, composer and arranger, Tim Stanley, is one of the most in-demand performers in The Baltimore/Washington DC region. In 2004, he was selected as the featured trumpet soloist in the United States Navy's premier jazz ensemble, The Commodores. Tim is also a member of the Grammy-winning Latin Jazz ensemble, Afro Bop Alliance, and the Unified Jazz Ensemble from Annapolis, MD. As an educator, Tim has presented numerous clinics across the USA and has served on the faculty of the Maryland Summer Jazz Camp and The National Jazz Workshop at Shenandoah University. Tim has performed and/or recorded with Chris Potter, Randy Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Paquito D'Rivera, Donny McCaslin, Jerry Bergonzi, Terrell Stafford, Eddie Daniels, Doc Severinsen, Dave Samuels, Seamus Blake, Poncho Sanchez, Arturo O'Farrill, Bill Watrous and many other musical luminaries.

The band can provide a small PA system for light vocals, speeches, and announcements. Size of performance space is determined by size of band. We cannot provide lighting.
