The Yo Cats: Jazz & Brass Band

In all of The Yo Cats' performances, you can expect expertly performed jazz music from virtuoso musicians that sets the proper tone for your event. From a smooth and laid back jazz combo for a relaxed, cool ambience to a raucous and energetic NOLA style brass band sure to get everyone dancing, our band can fit the mood you want live jazz music to provide at your event.

Beyond the high-level performance you and your guests are sure to enjoy, the musicians in our band are seasoned pros with countless years of combined experience performing at clubs, concert halls, Disney, Universal, & Sea World, and touring the world making music. We want to help you as much as possible and always work to make event planning and execution smooth and painless for our clients.

At the end of the day, our primary goal is to make sure everyone at your event is entertained, musically gratified, and leaves with great memories from a time well had! Based on your vision for jazz music at your event, we will work with you to make it a reality.

Formed in 2019 by band leader, Joey, The Yo Cats is a band made up of Orlando’s top-call jazz and brass musicians. The band has been featured in Orlando Magazine, South Orlando City Lifestyle magazine, and on (link hidden). In addition to weddings, private parties, and corporate events, recent performances have included concerts at The Plaza Live Theater and Orange County jazz festivals.

Outside of playing together as a band, the musicians of The Yo Cats perform frequently in famous bands at Walt Disney World, Universal Resort, and other Orlando theme parks, and also regularly are engaged with top arts groups and bands in Florida and around the country. They have years of experience performing for Broadway touring shows and at top concert venues in Florida and beyond. You may have heard and seen our players live at the Disney parks, on Disney+, and in professional concerts all over.

The Yo Cats partner with Best in Brass for weddings and other events, offering clients the opportunity to mix and match top-tier classical and jazz musicians all in one event. In addition to performing as a band, we are also able to offer DJ services in between sets, microphones and PA system for ceremonies, and other amplified sound needs.

For most event performances where amplification is required, we are able to supply our own amps and PA. We do require access to power outlets and enough space to setup for our performance.

For some performances at larger venues, we may require additional microphones and technical assistance.
