Gary Calvaneso (AKA-The Tribute Man) is a singer-guitarist living in the Palm Springs area in California. Gary's live performances deliver a perfect blend of vocal covers and instrumentation to provide an "original soundtrack" experience. With his unique talent for vocal covers and his passion for music, you will experience classic rock songs the way you remember them.
As a 4 Time Backstage Music Award winner, Gary has been recognized for his talent. He has also won songwriting awards and has written songs for Sunrise records. During his musical career, Gary performed in a variety of venues with notables such as Davey Jones (the Monkees), Herb Reed (the Platters), and others.

About
Gary is a Singer / Guitarist / one-man band also known as “The Tribute Man” for the wide variety of artists I cover. He specializes in Classic Rock and Pop hits of the 1950's thru 1990's, arranged and performed on an Acoustic-Electric Guitar. He plays a variety of music, primarily classic rock, mixing in Motown, country and other genres. His repertoire includes a playlist of the most popular and fun cover songs that everyone remembers! Depending on your preference he can play easy listening "yacht rock”, or wind it up with up-tempo music for a dance party.
As a 4 Time Buffalo Backstage Music Award winner, Gary has been recognized for his both his vocal performances and guitar work. Gary has also won songwriting awards and has written songs for Sunrise records. In late 2025, released his first country album "Let's Get This Party Started" - available worldwide on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other streaming platforms.
Gary plays a song selection that is tailored to each venue. For dance parties, Gary will play up-tempo classic rock songs that will get everyone on their feet! At soft rock, dinner and corporate music venues, Gary’s vocal tributes and style veer towards classic soft rock artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, the Eagles, & the Beatles. Gary’s music adds the missing ingredient to any type of venue.

I provide my own state of the art sound equipment. This includes a PA system and stage lighting for small to medium venues. For larger concerts / venues need to be discussed based on requirements and size.
