I'm equally ar home being out front and lively or quiet in the background. Private events often prefer the latter, and I can be subdued for those occasions. But if the situation calls for some singalongs, rowdiness and dancing - I'm happy ro go there too. Always in good taste, though.

You might hear a nod to Paul Simon, a wink to Tom Waits, or a dash of jazz phrasing — but always with Merv’s own signature feel.
And sometimes, there’s a dog nearby. Usually with opinions.
I can provide my own microphones, amplifiers and PA. Seating is preferred.
