Overview
Story telling has been a crucial way to teach new concepts and relay information to both children and adults since the beginning of time. I offer FREE pop up reading events around the community but I am also available for private events ie birthday parties, play dates, corporate events, etc. I bring the total Story Time experience, including but not limited to songs, rhymes, stories, and activities wherever you need it! I am so glad I had the Traveling Storyteller for my daughter's halloween party. She was the highlight of the party for sure. I was really worried about keeping 20+ 8 year old girls entertained for 3 hours and she made the time fly by quickly. She was very flexible and knew how to read and adjust to the girls interests and attention span! We can't wait to have her back again!

October 29, 2022Kept all the kids thoroughly entertained
Ngo (the traveling storyteller) was just amazing. She had 15 5-8 y/o hyped up on Halloween candy thoroughly engrossed in stories, dance, and play. She brought music, lights, and all kinds of cool little surprises. Her costume was super fun too.
But not only is she incredibly talented as a entertainer, but she is also incredibly easy to work with and really helpful throughout the event corralling kids and even helping pass around cup cakes, etc at the end. She understands kids parties can be a little chaotic (and I misjudged the timing) but she remained super accommodating and generous with her time. We’ve had magicians and balloon guys for previous parties but The Traveling Storyteller was so much more unique and captivating for the kids. And while she entertained by herself in our basement, the adults got to hang out upstairs.
Just an awesome person and performer. Would recommend as a special guest for school events and for any child party with kids up to about 10 years old.

What to expect
I will bring the entire Story Time experience to you! Contact me with details about your venue and I will customize a program for your event! Leave the entertainment up to me, I’ll engage the audience with stories, songs, rhymes, & activities! There will be laughing, singing, dancing, & bubbles! Never a dull moment, I guarantee it!
About
It has been said there is a 30 million word gap between children that come from low income families vs those that come from high income families which leads to a life long learning deficit📉
My goal is to close the gap by fostering an appreciation for stories and a love for reading through early literacy development. I promote growth mindset and educate through entertainment! Children will learn & practice pre-reading skills, develop an increased vocabulary & attention span, and nurture a lifelong love of reading!📈📚📖🥰✨
