December 1, 2022We have come to know Selkii personally after seeing her perform first at a corporate event and then have hired her to perform for 3 different occasions, 2 were corporate events, and the other was a wedding. She always does an amazing job and could not be anymore talented as a singer/musician. And she is an amazing person to boot!! You will surely be blessed if you allow her to perform for you!!

Selkii could be described as a modern day one-man band, as she is able to utilize her looping pedal and layer guitar parts and beats to create a full band sound in a small solo set-up.
That being said, she has a beautiful strong voice & wonderful guitar style and is a pleasure to hear unplugged/acoustic if you want a stripped coffee house package - If you're a fan of Coffeehouse Artists with soulful feel - Vance Joy, Matt Nathanson, George Ezra, Jack Johnson, Amy Winehouse, Brandi Carlisle, Norah Jones, Colbie Colait, Joss Stone, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Rait, Ryan Adams, Amos Lee, Leon Bridges, India Arie, Tracy Chapman - or you love Ben Harper, Ray Lamontagne, Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, James Bay, Ed Sheeran, Van Morrison, Coldplay, Rob Thomas, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, The Script, Maroon 5, The Swell Season, Civil Wars etc - you'll love Selkii.
Selkii has her own backline/rig/set-up so she rolls in with everything you need to get a fab concert.
Singer-Guitarist Songstress & DJ, Selkii is best known from the S16 of NBC The Voice 'Team Blake' Top 24 & 7th place finalist on S6 South African Idol. She is now a Headliner on VIRGIN VOYAGES & was the resident Lounge Act for Disney Cruise Lines for 4 years. With her soulful voice and guitar - & looper - Selkii has 'enchanted' audiences at music festivals, theaters & events. Selkii has a large community of supporters who admire her heartfelt & uplifting originals, as well as her unique spins on covers. She is fearlessly adept in almost any genre, but always makes a song sound like her very own as she is wonderfully interpretive. Selkii is also available as a Musician-DJ Combo ,alternating between Live Music & Spinning/Selecting Party Hits. Selkii has a repertoire of over 2000 songs from ABBA to ZAPPA , Music from the 60s to Current Day Hits. She also has a cute accent & loops in boots.
Selkii travels light with a sound system that is good for small parties of 30-120 people.
She's perfect for intimate settings like Dining Concerts, Coffee Houses, Theaters, Supper/wine/dine Clubs, Private Parties , Art Gallery Exhibitions, Openings, House Concerts, Christmas Parties.
For larger bookings - expos, fund raisers, large concerts etc - sound and lighting must be requested additionally.
