The Titus Collective is a small 3-5 piece jazz combo, that brings together a unique lineup of musicians. The instrumentation can vary but the band is led by Jayden Titus ( an up and coming contemporary jazz trumpet/artist based in Sarasota, Florida) Typically the instrumentation can consist of trumpet, alto saxophone/Tenor Saxophone, vibraphone, acoustic or electric bass, and drums. The Titus Collective plays mostly jazz ranging from traditional jazz standards to contemporary jazz including our own original music. (It's important to note that this band covers a wide variety of the subgenres within jazz such as Fusion, Latin jazz, Neo - soul and much more!)

Hello, I'm Jayden Titus (Leader of "The Titus Collective" & Co - Bandleader of the "Barker Project"). I am a freelance trumpet player and composer based in Sarasota, Florida. I play
various genres, including Jazz, fusion, R&B, soul, contemporary free Jazz, and more. I currently study at the USF School of Music (I previously studied and got my Associates in arts degree at SCF ).My influences on trumpet come from a mix of some of the greatest jazz trumpet players such as Roy Hargrove, Miles Davis, Woody Shaw. My main trumpet influence I look up to today Is Marquis Hill. I can occasionally be seen playing in local areas in the Tampa Bay area, such as St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Bradenton. I have played at a number of venues in the Sarasota and St. Petersburg area ranging from private corporate events for weddings and hotels like St. Regis to places like the Sarasota Art Museum and many more.
