Their willing to serve and minister on our programs have made them blessed. Our family and friends are always excited to support them and pray God blessing over their spiritual growth.

The group was formed in the year of 2006 by Minister Anthony Hunter to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ though Quartet Ministry. Having the vision of singing Quartet Ministry just as he father did in the 70’s. The challenges wasn’t hard to achieve being it was birth in him to praise the Lord through song. After praying and waiting on the Holy Spirit for direction, the manifestation of chosen men of God came forth to embrace the name given The Sons of Praise. The rehearsals sessions begin to develop their harmony and unity. This was one key element needed looking back at his father’s group The Rising Sun Jubilees of Louisa, Virginia that he knew was a great example or blueprint to follow. These anointed men of God develop a foot stomping, hand clapping style that celebrates and allows worship unto the Lord. The group elevated as a whirlwind sharing the stages with many national artists like The Sensational Nightingales, Lee William and the Spiritual QCs, along with local artists throughout the region. The CD project entitled “STAY PRAYED UP” was released in 2009 produced by Da’Seva Records Inc. This project was soulful yet spiritually uplifted revealing just what the Lord can and will do in our lives if we allow his will to operate as choice over our lives. The group The Sons of Praise is elated in regards to their numerous nominations for Gospel Music Awards such as The Black Essence Inc. Awards, the Worship Ministry Network Zeta Awards and currently holds the 2015 WMNZ Award Group of the Year. SOP Ministry Inc. adopted Route 618, a two mile area of the Rising Sun Community of Louisa County in Virginia. This mission was to bring assistance to the neighborhoods cry to beautify and clean up the community. The Ministry Team SOP will continue to collaborate with non-profit organizations and other churches to establish fellowship, unity of the people of God, and to grow Quartet Ministry supporters.
