The Songbird

I offer self contained sets of songs spanning 1924 to the 1990s (using backing tracks), and work locally with a disparate group of incredibly talented musicians when creating set lists for various scenarios (dinner or cocktail music, dance music for the Swing Dance crowd). I love to tell the history behind the song, and the story being told through the song.

With respect to voice over work, I record and produce voice over spots in my home studio, and have the ability to record character voices and books 'on tape'. My speaking voice is particularly suited to recording 'meditation tracks' to put the listener at ease and help them relax and focus.

I have had a long career in professional theater, as well as local TV and on-air voice over work. My passion is to preserve and promote songs from the Standards Songbook era, and to ignite the minds of hearts of young artists exploring their own 'voices'.

Theater roles include 3 national tours (Eliza, My Fair Lady; Anna, The King & I; and Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors). As a headline entertainer, I circumnavigated the globe on Holland America.

Having relocated to the Tucson, Arizona area after 6 years in the Tampa Bay region, I continue to volunteer as a program host of The Songbird Sessions (Mondays at 4pm Eastern on (link hidden)). The station is a local non-profit radio station dedicated to promoting local musicians.

In my alter-ego life, and am an IT Manager, ServiceNow Evangelist and Builder of Bridges between business stakeholders and technical engineers and coders.
