August 22, 2023We hired this group for my partner's birthday because they had such a cool songlist and I'm so freakin glad we did! The Screamalongs put on an absolutely incredible show. Aside from being ridiculously talented musicians, the whole crew was made up of organized, professional, and genuinely kind characters. From the start of the planning to the grand finale, I knew I could trust them to pull everything together to entertain.
If you want to throw an unforgettable celebration, rest easy since you found this group. Your search stops here. You don't want just a run of the mill Karaoke system; go for the live band, support local musicians, impress the hell out of your guests. Anyone can go to a Karaoke bar to mumble over a prerecorded track and sway to some slow songs, but they'll forget about within the weekend. The Screamalongs bring the energy, a hell of a lot more memorable songs, and the excitement that will keep your friends talking about it. This group made planning stress free too. They helped me pick a venue, worked with the event manager through any speed bumps so I didn't have to, and even learned some of our favorite songs to add to their list!
So many happy hoarse voices and bangovers, this was an absolutely unforgettable event and worth every penny (and then some).

When you attend a Screamalongs show, you can expect more than an entertaining rock and roll show performed by talented musicians. You get to be the star! We have a list of over 80 rock, punk, emo, and metal songs to choose from, featuring artists like Nirvana, Paramore, Misfits, My Chemical Romance, Rancid, No Doubt, Motorhead, Blondie, Green Day, The White Stripes, Motley Crue, Tenacious D, The Killers, System of a Down, Ramones, and more! We also have a full karaoke set up with a stage monitor displaying the song lyrics to the singer, and sometimes a projector so the audience can sing along as well. In fact, we encourage it!
You also get our witty and hilarious MC, who will get people signed up, call them when it is their turn to sing, and keep the show moving at a good pace. In some cases, we can play games for prizes! If necessary, we can also provide background music to play while the band is not on stage ie. before and after the set, or during a break.
So you get a fun karaoke party, a great rock and roll concert, and a comedian. Quite the package!
The Screamalongs started in February 2022, bringing rock and roll parties to venues all around Austin and surrounding areas. We currently hold two residencies in Austin and Pflugerville. We are constantly expanding our song list per requests we receive via emails from fans, whom we strive to keep a strong and engaging relationship with. We love hanging out with our audience between sets or after the show.
