The Roz Band

I have a variety of type of shows to appeal to each client's needs. If background music, I can provide instruments along with some light jazz, smooth listening r&b along with originals. If needing a light but danceable type of set, I have a trio who can provide music to make you dance and sing a long. If more of a intimate setting, we can tailor it to more family friendly, fun type of informal setting. The Roz Band has a story telling type of vibe and has a comedic sort of outlook to make people smile. We're just fun and like to bring a smile to people's faces, young and old!

Roz is an established singer who performs her own songs with an infectious charm and personalized lyric. From opera, gospel, pop, latin and r&b, she fully embodies her slogan, “Feel the heart, hear the soul.” Her originals are timeless and speak to all ages. Roz has had the opportunity to travel overseas, been a recipient of a top honor in music at her college, a grad assistant at Wichita State and The University of Kansas, an adjunct professor at Butler County Community College, a vocal instructor, and currently performs as a solo, duo, trio along with a lead singer with the E Pruitt Band, a world class music industry bass player and the Lady A Band. Roz has been in several professional choirs and orchestras and has performed in operas, musicals and stage plays from Ain’t Misbehavin’, by Fats Waller, A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, Cinderella in La Cenerentola by Rossini and many others. She plays several instruments and brings a smile to many through her beautiful story telling style and comedic timing. Once you experience Roz live, you know she belongs on stage. The Roz Band is self contained and can provide their own sound. We can perform as a solo w/keyboard and vocals or even with fun background tracks, duo with bass/guitar and or trio with vocals/keys, bass & drums. We're very versatile. We'd need lighting but can definitely figure something out, if needed. We don't need a large amount of space, depending on each setting.
