Katherine Kylila Rice the Resilient Poet

Audiences can expect an engaging , informative , entertaining and interactive experience. There will be spoken word poetry weaved into my speech. The will also be a musical performance where appropriate, usually used to communicate tough or less than interesting subjects. I have been trained in leadership, have learned how to be resilient and am a cross cultural communicator. Upon leaving my talk, attendees will be inspired and empowered with the tools that they need to continue to grow towards the fulfillment of their potential.

Katherine is an accomplished poet , performer, and speaker. She has been engaging audiences for seven years and has inspired at-risk youth, to members of our local and federal governments. She has spent a short time in the media and production industry and has served as a career coach and small business consultant for start ups. Katherine studied sociology at the U.S Military Academy at West Point for two years, then decided to work for multiple organizations in Washington, D.C. Katherine is a Starting Bloc Fellow and is currently studying Business Administration at the Harvard University Extension School.
