Overview

The Red Spades formed in Pittsburgh, PA in fall of 2013. Between the “in the pocket” perfectionist Kyle, the pure funkadelic riffs of bass player Matt, and the smooth, rich vocals of Bill, the trio delivers both a forceful house-band presence, while maintaining tasteful dynamics to create a truly organic representation of old school funk and up-beat R&B. Within just months of formation, The Red Spades have opened at arguably the nicest venue in the city, Rivers Casino, as well as hometown regular pubs.
