May I please introduce you to the entertaining, eclectic and super fun band ~ The Port City Ukuholics out of Wilmington, NC. Combining multiple ukuleles (as many as 18) with a rhythm section (bass and percussion), authentic HULA, Accordion, Kazoos, corny shenanigans and incredible vocal harmonies the group does an outstanding job at making people smile, dance, laugh and enjoy life with their entertaining and diversified repertoire for all ages. We encourage and welcome audience participation. Our members are a unique bunch of folks, but we have one thing in common - we are ukuholics and love to make people smile with our music!

The Port City Ukuholic Band was founded by Lynn O’Connell in January 2021 when I heard a calling to spread the joy of ukulele music in the Wilmington area. Combining multiple ukuleles (as many as 18) with a rhythm section (bass and percussion), authentic HULA, Accordion, Kazoos, corny shenanigans and incredible vocal harmonies the group does an outstanding job at making people smile, dance, laugh and enjoy life with their entertaining and diversified repertoire for all ages. We encourage and welcome audience participation. Our members are a unique bunch of folks that have different hometowns, are different ages, had many occupations including nurse, seamstress, college professor, chorus teacher, Broadway singer, opera singer, church musician, professional painter, pharmaceutical sales rep, jewelry maker, lumber man, boater and surf instructor. But we have one thing in common - we are ukuholics and love to make people smile with our music! 😁
