Meet 2025 CCMA Entertainer of the Year Michael Schott, a 14-year-old Nashville recording artist and full-time performing musician from Eastern North Carolina who blends a deep love for traditional country music with a natural talent for storytelling. His journey began at age 10 with a $50 guitar from his grandpa, leading to local performances, major festival appearances, and opening slots for Sawyer Brown, Parmalee, and Chris Cagle, as well as becoming a regular on Nashville's world-famous honky tonks on Broadway. Now working with producers Tom Yankton (Rascal Flatts) and Jimmy Ritchey (Clay Walker, Mark Chesnutt, Jake Owen), Michael is quickly becoming one of country music’s most exciting young voices.
