Porsche Veu aka The Poetic Activist is an author, motivational speaker, facilitator and artist of many talents from Oakland, Ca. Her words are full of raw conviction, unapologetically spreading messages filled with truth. With a passion for God, true DEI, social justice work, and mental health, especially among BIPOC and women, Porsche aims to bridge the gap between faith & social justice, create brave atmospheres for uncomfortable conversations, and inspire others to find freedom in telling their own stories, using motivational speaking, workshop facilitation, spoken word poetry and music.

January 30, 2017Breathtaking!
Porsche performed spoken words at my church multiple times. She leaves the audience speechless by her ability to communicate so effortlessly through her poems. She has left the audience standing to their feet with joy and often times, even tears. It is pleasure working with such a humble individual who thrives in her artistry. Thank you Porsche for blessing us with your gift.

About
From poems strictly about social justice to a poem about suicide, it took a lot to get here. Welcome.
Porsche Veu aka The Poetic Activist is an author, motivational speaker, facilitator and artist of many talents from Oakland, Ca. With a passion for God, social justice, Black & women empowerment, and mental health, Porsche aims to bridge the gap between faith & social justice, create brave atmospheres for uncomfortable conversations, and inspire others to "erase shame and tell their story", her mantra coined after the release of her debut book "2 Kinds of Fire."
Porsche has been invited to speak and perform at as well as facilitate workshops in numerous spaces such as NAACP, TED Talk, Health-Ade, Google, Adobe, Apple, YWCA, Public Advocates, and more. She has also been invited to speak at several colleges, companies, churches, festivals, conferences, and spoken word events across the country, in addition to featuring on podcasts, panels, and projects, including the 2020 CA Census campaign. Her ultimate goal is to challenge societal norms and the mindsets of people, foster healing in people and break the shame attached to trauma, and help change broken and unjust systems.
