As the Pivot Coach my goal is to teach individuals how to Pivot in Life. Pivots are shits in life that cause you to go after a desire differently. A lot of people teach process BUT not how to handle the changes or the "Pivots" In the process and that's what I specialize in. My goal with each presentation is to provide strategies to help people handle changes in the simplest way possible; that will allow individuals to realize they are equipped to reach their desires and goals. Sometimes you just have to Pivot your perspective.

Theo Plowden is the Founder and President of both The Pivot 6, an organization dedicated to
helping young people successfully navigate major life changes and The Pivot Coach LLC, where he offers Personal Trianon and Life Coaching Services as well. He is a former educator
and an international professional basketball player, and frequently has had to “pivot” between
these two roles in order to balance them.
A native of Orlando, Florida and the son of a stand-up comedian father
and a government administrator mother, he has seen how people often
get “stuck” when a life plans, jobs, relationships or other opportunities
don't work out. Through his experience playing basketball at the
professional level internationally, he learned first hand how important it is
to open a new door when another is closing. For many young people, the
inability to respond appropriately to unexpected change leads to anxiety,
frustration and unrealized potential.
Theo knows that people must be able to adeptly and swiftly adjust
course when faced with the realities of today’s ever-changing world. For
young people who are able to pivot, an entirely new world of
opportunities awaits them, but for adrift young people who struggle to
cope, lost opportunities may lead to unhealthy behaviors that harm themselves and others.
Through The Pivot 6, youth and young adults benefit from mentorship, inspiration and collaborative planning to help them navigate life’s changes. Theo acts as a friend, a mentor and a guide through a variety of mediums to help kids and young adults chart their next course. Whether in the form of a small group, 1:1 mentorship, a public speaking event or his social media channels, he aims to change the world one life at a time, by helping others find their “next” plan and purpose.
