September 8, 2026Les performed at my 70th birthday party on September 6, 2026. He is such an entertainer. Before playing each song he would give a little background of the meaning of that song. His performance of Star Wars theme requested by my son, Brett, was absolutely incredible. Les played amazing grace for my family, which is one of their favourite songs. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place. He is a true entertainer, amazing performer, and I would say when anyone that is lucky enough to have him come perform for your function is very lucky and will not be disappointed. Excellent excellent young man.

As he had indicated to me that he had played many a funeral I left the playlist to his discretion. His choice was more than excellent and most appropriate.He played close enough to be heard and looked incredible smart in his kilt. His timing on when to play was right on target.Would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a piper. Thank you Les

August 16, 2026We booked with Les for my mother-in-law’s Celebration of Life which was an outdoor afternoon garden party.
Les was quick to respond, easy to connect and plan with, offering up many ideas and responsive to suggestions. On the day, he executed the instructions perfectly (come through the side gate, where to wait, when to walk in, where to stand, pause halfway through for a toast etc.) which made for a very meaningful moment in our celebration. It brought tears to many eyes and we received a lot of positive feedback on the idea of having a piper and the music itself. Two of my favourite songs played were: “Flower of Scotland” and “Highland Cathedral”. Thank you so much Les, what you added to the day will not be forgotten!

I have an excellent knowledge of the history of the tunes I play so I can talk about the tunes when the moment presents itself and is appropriate. This adds to the event.
I tailor my tunes to the event. If it is a Robbie Burns dinner, I ensure the tunes center around his time period and influence. The same goes for weddings, funerals. I ensure the tunes fit perfectly with the type of event.

Music has always been a passion in my life. I took up the bapipes because of my families Scottish ancestry. I really enjoy performing, be it a wedding or celebration of life or birthday party, etc. I am also the Pipe Sergeant of the Stratford Police Pipes and Drums.
