What to Expect
FUN. The current incarnation of Petty Thieves has been performing together for more than four years. We love the music and sweat the details to do it justice. While we don't do the superficial stuff (wigs, costumes) we otherwise aim to please - we're happy to deliver a setlist of the client's choosing, for almost any kind of occasion. We also have lots of experience in event production (and know lots of specialists), so we can arrange for equipment rental and personnel (audio engineer, lighting designer, videographer, etc.) if needed. We make it to easy.
The Petty Thieves were formed sometime in the late '90s by my dear friend Hank Goldsmith. From the outset, the band liked to slyly go off menu, inserting snippets of other songs inside the expected Petty hits. Though the Thieves have played played numerous showcases, private parties and fundraisers, it's never been a commercial venture - we play because we love to.
