About

Meet Angie; twin mom, wife, coffee addict, podcast host, and developer of the C.A.L.M. Approach to Parenting© to on a mission to help break generational parenting cycles and reduce the shame and guilt so many parents are struggling with.

She wasn’t always sure of everything that she wanted in life, but the one thing she did know was that “mom” was a title she knew she needed to have one day. So after welcoming her twins in 2014, she thought she checked all the boxes in life.

But as we all know, parenting doesn’t come with a handbook, so she spent the first few years of their lives learning the hard way. She was stressed, cranky, her work-life balance was out of wack, and she had constant mom guilt following her around like a dark cloud.

Then one day, it clicked and she knew she needed to make a change. So she quit my job to focus on her kids and go full-time with her passion of educating people about holistic options to be more proactive with their health.

She was finally finding her happiness again and when mama’s happy, our kiddos are happy.

But then, life got thrown at her and it hit her like a ton of bricks.

She went through some personal trauma and started an intense healing journey. Throughout this time, she completed an intense program to better understand and take control of her mental and emotional health.

As she started using the strategies she learned for herself, she saw an amazing ripple effect happening throughout her house. Her kids started picking up on these different "tools", the relationship with them got better, the relationship with her husband got better- overall there was more calm and connection happening. Through the amazing results happening, she couldn’t help but share this knowledge with others.

Angie strongly believes if we start changing the conversation in our own homes, we can change generations.

That was the start of The Parent Toolbox and her developed C.A.L.M. Approach to Parenting©. Using these foundational pieces, she works with families to tailor it to their specific family goals, needs, and wants. By being practical (and graceful), she helps families create more connection, strengthen bonds, and at the end of the day raise some really amazing humans!
